I will be posting all people running as soon as I get their statements emailed to me.
Annette Mankin – I, Annette Mankin, will remain as VP, not that I have much to do. Unless asked, President usually handles all of the important stuff. But if needed I would surely step into the position, with a little help from the rest of the board. Also as acting Secretary, during meetings. With taking the minutes at the board meetings.
I am an active member of CCB, and have been for the last 30 plus years, attending work parties, helping with cleaning of the trails, and with Animal set ups and take downs for all the shoots. Also, purchasing door prizes, from shops and stores, within the allotted money agreed upon by the board. Helping the 3D officer, make notes, and keeping track of the animals, and their conditions. Whether or not more parts need to be ordered, or replaced. Also helping in the Kitchen, when needed for several years. Have done shopping for snacks, and other things needed for our shoots, running of the snack shack, for people to purchase snacks and drinks, and some conversation for free. Current member of WSAA and NFAA. Have volunteered for the NASP tournaments for many years.
Dale Soost – I have been a member of CCB since 1977. In 1981, I was elected to the position of Vice President. Then, in 1982, I was elected as Treasurer and have held the office since then, except for a three year sabbatical in the mid-1990’s to spend time with my family and take a break from the other club duties I had taken on. That included being Registrar for the shoots, newsletter editor, doing range maintenance, tournament set ups, secretary pro-tem, and liaison to CCRPC for several years.
As Treasurer, I balance the checkbook monthly and present financial activity to the Board of Directors, do deposits and write checks, and be sure there is supporting documentation for all of this. It was this supporting documentation that helped CCRPC auditors solve the mystery of their missing funds. If elected, I promise to keep the books and records for the club in good order. My background is in IT as an applications designer and programmer for mainframe software for Yakima County for 3 years and for the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts for 43 years.
Dave Mankin – I would like to stay one as 3-D officer because, 1)- I’ve have been doing it 15 plus years and I have a close bond with my animal targets. 2) I consider them as some of my closets friends.🤪 I’ve been a club member for at least 32 years, WSSA and NFAA 30 years. 3) Running 3-Ds keeps me active with the course lay out and set-up.
Gene White – I have been The Shaft Editor for the last several months now. I believe that my position of Webmaster and Membership Director puts me in the center of the communication of the club. I have established the newsletter to be issued once a month in the first week of the month. I have spent a lot of time working on newsletters for other clubs in the past. I believe that communication is the key to keeping a club together and involved in the day to day operations and notices for the club. I believe moving forward that the newsletter will be key to keeping the members of the club informed and involved in the club. I hope to expand the newsletter in the coming months to communicate primarily club news but also news from the archery community in general.
Sherrie Crisp – I have for several years been WSAA Liaison for CCB. I am a WSAA member with over 30 years as a member. I am one of the leads in the WSAA NASP program. I have attended the WSAA convention as CCB club delegate for several years. I have in the past served on the WSAA BOD. I have some good connections with the WSAA BOD.
